SEVERAL FOXES ENFOLDED
A small zine by Gracia & Louise

Edition of 100
May, 2010

A 21 X 21cm, colour folding zine.

We have taken our fox confidantes upon imagined journey. We have given them props from the history of art and the companionship of the Ballets Russes. Listen quietly and you can hear them speaking in tongues.

This folded zine features the recent collaborative collages Seated atop Kandinsky’s chair, the unexpected could be sighted with ease and The Spanish mirror had a habit of distorting one’s reflection for the betterment of all. Both collages were created especially for Uppercase magazine, issue five (spring 2010).

The foxes featured in this zine are a Central European Red fox (Vulpes vulpes crucigera) and a Gray fox (Urocyon cinereoargenteus). (Fabergé rabbits also make appearance.)

One of four new zines released at the Emerging Writers' Festival's Page Parlour annual event held this year in the Atrium at Federation Square.

A zine takes shape slowly,
Tuesday belongs to the fox
Two plus two equals four
It's all about paper
Seated atop Kandingky's chair...
Too much excitement for a single day
One more than six
