Dear
you,
Tied up in fours once more, a snatch of things new to share with
you.
THE PERILS OF BALLOONING
In
Suspense closes this weekend. Come Sunday it will all
be packed away. Head to Hand Held Gallery, our friends. Head there
if you can.
Hand Held Gallery
Tuesday – Saturday
12 – 5pm
Suite 18, Paramount Arcade, 108 Bourke Street, Melbourne (VIC)
For those of you who cannot make it along, we invite you to peep
over our shoulder in the quiet hush of the RMIT library as we
turn the pages of The
first aerial travellers. Once the exhibition closes,
this particular artists' book is off to join its collaged friends
at the State Library of New South Wales.
AT THE FAIRGROUNDS
To those of you at a loss for Sunday merriment, we invite
you to join us at the fair. We'll have with us a suite of NEW
prints and other paper delights.
St Heliers Street Store + Gallery in association with Rona Green
presents:
THE WONDERFUL CREATIVE THINGS FAIR
Sunday November 27th, 2011
11am – 4pm
The Abbotsford Convent, 1 St Heliers Street, Abbotsford (VIC)
MY LITTLE INKY ONE
We're thrilled to be a part of this year's Visible Ink anthology
of new writing and art, The
screen door snaps. Somewhere towards the middle, you'll
find our animals in colour printed.
Equally, we are thrilled to have one of our collages feature in
The
Big Issue 2012 calendar. (Hello month of May, we like your
rodents.)
ASK AND WE'LL ANSWER
We've been talking about collage, collaborations, honeybee scissors
and Diana monkeys with Camila Galaz on her show Let's
Art (episode #9) on Radio Valerie.
And on TAKE.AWAY
too, we've talking (still, it seems) about animals wild, artwork,
source material, and things coming up.
(Earlier interviews and other snippets can be found here,
under the one roof.)
Be well,
Gracia
& Louise
