Dear diary

Gracia Haby and Louise Jennison from hammer & daisy make hand made journals incorporating a technique learnt at the Centro del bel Libro, a specialist bookbinding school in Ascona, Switzerland. Haby and Jennison use a mixture of vintage fabrics, pre-loved clothing, used doilies and quilting fabrics, to give each journal a personal touch. All are bound with an exposed spine held together by a series of small square knots over and through brass wire and rods. These beautifully made works of art inspire one to take up writing.
