This zine features a Little eagle, an Eastern rosella, a Superb fairywren, and a Spot-billed toucanet, all drawn from specimens at the Melbourne Museum. It sits alongside Spring and Summer, and was launched at the Ballarat International Foto Biennale 2017, as part of the Ballarat Foto Book Fair, sponsored by Momento Pro at the Ballarat Art Gallery.

One of four new zines made especially for Sticky Institute’s Festival of the Photocopier 2017 at the Melbourne Town Hall. Duck in, duck out features bird portraits from the pages of 2016’s sketchbook: a Cotton pygmy goose (Nettapus coromandelianus); a Hardhead (Aythya australis); a Pink-eared duck (Malacorhynchus membranaceus); a Radjah shelduck (Tadorna radjah); and an Australian shelduck (Tadorna tadornoides).

One of four new zines made especially for Sticky Institute’s Festival of the Photocopier 2017 at the Melbourne Town Hall. Flippered and flightless features bird portraits from the pages of 2016’s sketchbook: a Gentoo penguin (Pygoscelis papua); a Magellanic penguin (Spheniscus magellanicus); a Chinstrap penguin (Pygoscelis antarcticus); an Adélie penguin (Pygoscelis adeliae); a Snares penguin (Eudyptes robustus); a Royal penguin (Eudyptes schlegeli); and a King penguin (Aptenodytes patagonicus).

A 21cm X 30cm (folded to 7.5cm X 10.5cm in proportion), full-colour zine.

One of four new zines made especially for Sticky Institute’s Festival of the Photocopier 2017 at the Melbourne Town Hall. It features a Superb fruit dove (Ptilinopus superbus); a Common emerald dove (Chalcophaps indica); a Rose-crowned fruit dove (Ptilinopus regina); an Orange-bellied fruit dove (Ptilinopus iozonus); an Orange-fronted fruit dove (Ptilinopus aurantiifrons); and a Wompoo fruit dove (Ptilinopus magnificus).

This zine featured in the reading library of the touring exhibition, Self-made: Zines and Artist Books, at the State Library Victoria, 2017. The exhibition also included our artists’ book, A Deck of Salvaged Relatives, and two accompanying pocket-sized zines featuring costumed Salvaged Relatives.
